About the role A Data Analyst intern will support the team in performing daily tasks, analyzing data, and assisting with departmental projects.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possess basic analytical skills.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work closely with team members, and contribute to the department’s operations and objectives.
Use SQL to extract, analyze, and refine data from databases in support of business requirements and decision-making.
Use Python to clean, structure, and organize raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis and business decision-making.
Analyze datasets to identify basic trends, patterns, and insights.
Use Python to create clear and simple charts and visualizations that help communicate data findings, highlight trends, and support basic data interpretation.
Prepare and structure data for use in reports and dashboards by organizing, validating, and summarizing datasets to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and presentation-ready.
Perform basic data validation checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets before analysis or reporting.
Assist the team by handling small data-related tasks and ad hoc requests to support ongoing analysis, reporting, and operational needs.
Prepare and format datasets for use in Power BI or Tableau dashboards by cleaning, structuring, and organizing data to support clear and effective reporting.

Any prior internship in Data Analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Basic understanding of Python for data work.
Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
Ability to work with simple charts and tables.
Good attention to detail.
Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
