2. Job Purpose
The Production Supervisor is responsible to oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient operation, adherence to quality standards, and on-time delivery of products.
3. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or any related field
5-8 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in F&B industry
Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a diverse team of production personnel.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to food manufacturing.
4. Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate production operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management, to meet production targets and customer demands.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement operational improvements, production efficiency enhancements, and standardized work procedures to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
• Lead and motivate a team of production technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and enhance skill development.
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, safety awareness, and continuous improvement in production practices.
• Ensure product quality by implementing and enforcing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and addressing non-conformities in collaboration with the quality assurance team.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall product quality.
• Uphold workplace safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety meetings, enforcing safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among production staff.
• Collaborate with the safety committee and participate in audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment and minimize occupational hazards.
