Position Summary
This is a full-time on-site executive position for a Hospital based in Zahle, Lebanon. The selected candidate must be able to commute daily and be physically present at the hospital to oversee operations and management activities.
The hospital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the hospital’s daily operations and organizational performance.
The COO will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial discipline, quality of care, team performance, and effective coordination across all departments.
The ideal candidate is a strong healthcare operator with proven leadership experience in hospitals or healthcare institutions, capable of building structure, accountability, and high-performance management systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the hospital’s operational and administrative functions.
• Ensure efficient coordination between medical, nursing, operational, and support departments.
• Improve operational efficiency, patient experience, and service quality.
• Establish KPIs, reporting systems, and performance management processes.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and operational profitability.
• Support quality improvement, accreditation, and compliance initiatives.
• Recruit, develop, and strengthen department leadership.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports for executive leadership.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience, including senior management roles in hospitals or healthcare organizations.
• Strong operational, financial, and people management capabilities.
• Experience in healthcare operations within the Middle East is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve organizational performance.
