An international hospitality management company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Beirut office. The role involves overseeing the audit and financial follow-up of a hotel property in Africa, with occasional short business trips and return to our Lebanon office.

???? Location: Beirut, Lebanon
???? Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
✈️ Travel: Occasional short-term missions to Africa (1-2 weeks). All travel expenses covered.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and audit hotel financial statements, ledgers, and daily operations in line with USALI/Hotel Accounting standards
2. Ensure accuracy of revenue, cost control, inventory, and payroll for the African property
3. Coordinate with the on-site finance team to resolve discrepancies and implement controls
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management
5. Conduct remote and on-site audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations
6. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the hotel
7. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed

???? Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with preferably 2+ years in hotel/hospitality accounting
3. Strong knowledge of hotel P&L, night audit, inventory, and cost control processes
4. Fluent in French – written and spoken. Required for communication with the African team and authorities
5. Proficiency in English is required
6. Advanced Excel skills and experience with hotel ERPs such as Opera, Micros, Oracle Hospitality, or similar
7. Willingness to travel for short assignments and adapt to different working environments
8. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving.
