Job Title: Project Manager Roads and Infra
Location: Liberia
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of roadworks and infrastructure projects in Liberia. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of civil engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning and execution of road construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Monitor progress and performance; resolve issues and implement corrective actions as needed
• Lead project meetings, status updates, and reporting to senior management
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes
• Ensure proper documentation and close-out procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in road and infrastructure project management
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of roadworks, drainage systems, utilities coordination, and site logistics
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
• Familiar with international standards and codes related to civil works and solar farm construction
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multi-cultural teams
• Willingness to be based full-time in Liberia
