We're looking for an energetic Assistant Shop Manager to help run a fashion and accessories outlet. You'll be the Store Manager's right hand, keeping the store running smoothly, the team motivated and customers happy.
What you'll do
Store Operations & Daily Readiness
-Support opening and closing routines: cleanliness, POS readiness, staff attendance and making sure the store is working properly.
-Get the sales floor ready for customers by coordinating housekeeping, organising fixtures and keeping product presentation to standard.
-Monitor safety and maintenance, and report any issues to the Store Manager.
Sales Floor Supervision & Customer Service
-Lead and support the sales team throughout the day so every customer gets great service.
-Assign daily tasks such as sections, replenishment, display touch-ups and restocking priorities.
-Make sure service standards, selling behaviour and store rules are followed.
-Handle customer questions and complaints, and resolve escalated cases with the Store Manager.
Team Development
-Onboard new joiners and help them settle quickly into the team.
-Coach Sales Officers and Cashiers on customer approach, product knowledge and store policies.
What we're looking for
2–4 years of retail experience, ideally in fashion, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
A natural leader with a strong customer-service mindset.
Organised, hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced store.
Good communication skills in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends and peak seasons
