We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment at construction sites, ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and other construction projects.

Execute mechanical works related to HVAC systems, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and other building mechanical services.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and equipment installation manuals.

Assist in the installation of air conditioning units, ventilation ducts, pumps, motors, piping networks, and related equipment.

Perform equipment inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance.

Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs to ensure proper system operation.

Assist in the installation and testing of chilled water systems, water supply systems, and drainage networks, as applicable.

Coordinate with mechanical engineers, site engineers, electricians, and other trades to ensure proper execution of works.

Ensure that all installations comply with approved drawings, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.

Monitor the quality of mechanical installations and report technical issues to the direct supervisor.

Follow up on tools, equipment, and material requirements and report shortages to the supervisor.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and minimize material waste.

Follow site safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Assist in conducting system testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
