What Your Day Will Look Like
- Develop and maintain integrations between platforms like Jira, TeamSupport, GitHub, 8x8, and our core systems.
- Implement efficient data ingestion and integration strategies in Snowflake/Redshift data warehouses.
- Design scalable and robust API solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and data flow between diverse systems.
- Manage data integrity and optimize data storage and retrieval processes within our data warehouse environments.
- Proactively monitor and enhance the performance of APIs and data warehouses.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in API development, data warehousing, and integration techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, focusing on API integrations and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with a strong grasp of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Hands-on experience with platform integrations (Jira, TeamSupport, GitHub, 8x8, etc.).
- Experience with Snowflake/Redshift data warehouses and a solid understanding of database technologies and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of cloud services, OAuth, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and automated testing frameworks.
