Role Description

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and approach potential clients, including construction firms, real estate developers, and other businesses in need of structural engineering services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to secure ongoing projects.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to understand local market trends, industry needs, and competitive landscape to effectively target potential clients.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish connections and promote the company’s services.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing and presenting proposals and bids for new projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure projects while ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Reporting: Track and report on progress, client interactions, and project acquisition activities to the management team.
Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in business development or sales, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships effectively.
  • Familiarity with the local and abroad market and industry trends.
This role is typically compensated based on the successful acquisition of new projects or clients, often through a commission structure or project-based fees
