Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic CTO to lead Ultahost's technology division. This key role will involve defining the technological vision, managing the development and deployment of our services, and guiding a talented engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, an innovative mindset, and a passion for building world-class web hosting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall technology strategy aligned with Ultahost's business goals.
• Oversee all aspects of technology development, including product architecture, infrastructure, and software deployment.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering and IT teams.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance service quality, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure technology supports the company’s objectives.
• Ensure that our hosting solutions remain industry-leading in terms of performance, reliability, and security.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role, ideally in the web hosting or SaaS industry.
• Strong knowledge of server management, cloud infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and high-availability systems.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align technical goals with company objectives.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the web hosting industry or cloud services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
