Job overview:
The Inside Sales Officer will be responsible for leading revenue generation initiatives by identifying and engaging potential clients through phone, emails and digital communication channels by qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Job functions and responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to generate interest and qualify leads by utilizing research and tools to identify high-potential prospects.
- Engaging with both inbound and outbound leads to assess their IT needs, budget, and project timelines.
- Qualifying leads by evaluating their fit for the company’s solutions and determining their decision making process.
- Presenting the value proposition of the Company’s IT solutions products (cloud solutions, cybersecurity, networking, and managed services) confidently during initial outreach and discovery calls with prospects.
- Updating the CRM system with precise sales records and follow ups, by consistently tracking and following up with leads to maintain a strong pipeline.
- Coordinating with Account Managers to hand off qualified leads and helping prepare proposals, presentations.
- Helping in aligning outreach with marketing campaigns and messaging.
- Analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies and achieve targets, and reporting on lead generation and pipeline progress in sales meetings.
- Gathering and sharing insights on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or any closely related field.
- Relevant certifications in sales or IT solutions are a plus.
Skills and competencies:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in presales, customer success, account management, sales support, or a similar role, preferably in the Information Technology industry.
- Knowledge in sales processes, including lead generation, qualification techniques, and experience supporting sales teams in achieving their goals.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Resilient and able to handle rejection with a positive attitude.
