Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Procurement Section Head to lead and manage our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, negotiating favorable contracts, and managing supplier relationships within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Sourcing:
Source materials, components, and services required by the company. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate pricing trends.

Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Manage contract renewals and amendments.

Purchase Order Processing:
Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of requisitions and purchase orders.

Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure optimal inventory levels. Forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.

Cost Control:
Implement cost-saving initiatives and track procurement costs. Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Supplier Performance Management:
Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular supplier reviews and provide feedback.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines. Identify and mitigate procurement risks.

Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of procurement professionals. Provide training and coaching to ensure high performance.

ERP System Management:
Utilize the company's ERP system to manage procurement activities. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.

Travel:
Frequent travel to KSA, Syria, and Iraq is required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing industry.  
- Proven experience with ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
- Ability to travel frequently to KSA, Syria, and Iraq.
- Age: 35+
