Assistant Store Manager - Zippy ABC Dbayeh

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible to ensure customers know someone’s available to help if they need anything. Help the Store Manager to analyze week to date, period to date, and year to date sales, and develop action plans to drive top line sales. Effectively manages store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Trains store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with the Store manager.


Developing and implementing new service training and delivering training sessions.


Ensure that sales representatives provide exceptional customer service through answering questions and assisting with product selection, purchases, and returns as well as handling any disputes.


Process sales when necessary.


Producing merchandise displays in windows and showcases, and on sales floor.


Attracts customers by originating display ideas; following display schedules; constructing or assembling prefabricated display properties.


Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised.


Responsible for making sure that all store policies, procedures, and controls are followed.


Coordinate and oversee the planning, organizing, and delegating of work among staff.


Maintains inventory by checking merchandise to determine inventory levels; anticipating customer demand.


Conduct regular audits of the store’s physical and practical condition to ensure quality.


Ability to complete daily banking.


Troubleshoots daily close out and shift sales analysis.


Prepares sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales information; identifying and investigating customer complaints and service suggestions.


Evaluates competition by visiting competing stores; gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitive merchandise.


Assist the Store Manager with shift coverage in the event there are no other employees available to work.


Ability to substitute for the Store Manager when he/she is unavailable and to be the store key holder when needed.


Take and resolve customers’ complaints in a proactive manner.
