Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, optimizing table turnover while maintaining a comfortable dining experience.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding the restaurant's menu, hours of operation, and special events.
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and communicate any special guest requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods, providing accurate wait time estimates to guests.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service standards and improve overall guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on menu changes, special promotions, and events to effectively communicate with guests.
