Job description

This is a PRN/Temporary position

About Jordan Valley Community Health Center

Jordan Valley Community Health Center (JVCHC) is a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and families in underserved communities. We provide comprehensive healthcare services including primary medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health. Our mission is simple: improve our community’s health through access and relationships. Key responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, shampoo, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors.
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
• Mix chemicals and cleaning solutions to wash windows, walls, ceilings, and doors.
• Clean desks and countertops.
• Pick up papers and other debris, and empty and clean waste receptacles.
• Restock every exam room on a nightly basis.
• Clean and maintain supplies in restrooms.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment.
• Replace lights and adjust shades and blinds.
• Lock and unlock doors; turn lights and machines on and off; set alarms.
• Operate light duty equipment and machinery, and clean and care for it.
• Work outside as needed to clear sidewalks and parking lots during inclement weather days. This includes snow, ice, mud, etc. Will also assist with grounds keeping.
• Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the clinic’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• One year experience in environmental or maintenance services.
