Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Low Current & Security Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low-current and security systems. The successful candidate will work on a variety of systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm, fire alarm, and structured cabling systems, ensuring high-quality installations and reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and service access control and biometric systems.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform structured cabling, cable termination, and network point installation.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and project requirements.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients during project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Diploma, Technical Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in low-current and security systems.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and intrusion alarm systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and structured cabling.
- Ability to use testing and troubleshooting tools.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (own vehicle preferred) is a plus.
