Responsible for ensuring that company projects, installations, products, and operational processes meet the required quality standards and technical specifications. The role includes conducting inspections, monitoring site activities, reviewing documentation, coordinating with engineering and project teams, identifying quality issues, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. The position supports continuous improvement by maintaining quality procedures, reports, and compliance with company standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular quality inspections on sites, projects, installations, and technical works to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.
- Monitor installation activities and verify that work is executed according to drawings, technical requirements, and company procedures.
- Perform site visits to check workmanship, materials, safety practices, and overall project quality.
- Review project documents, technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Prepare quality inspection reports, site observation reports, and non-conformance reports when required.
- Identify quality issues, document findings, and follow up with responsible teams to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Verify incoming materials, equipment, and products according to specifications before installation or use.
- Perform random checks on completed works, installations, and delivered projects before final handover.
- Ensure that corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are properly implemented and closed.
- Maintain quality records, inspection checklists, reports, and project documentation.
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures, checklists, and internal standards.
- Support engineering and operations teams in improving installation methods and reducing repeated issues.
- Follow up on customer complaints related to technical quality and coordinate solutions with responsible departments.
- Conduct audits on operational processes, warehouses, installations, and service activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and technical standards.
- Support project teams during testing, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical quality issues and product concerns.
- Assist in preparing quality presentations, reports, and improvement recommendations for management.
- Monitor field teams' performance and provide feedback regarding quality standards.
- Perform any additional quality-related tasks assigned by management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial) or related technical field.
Minimum 2 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Site Engineering, Project Coordination, or Technical Inspection.
Previous experience working in an engineering company, construction company, contracting company, or technical projects is highly preferred.
Experience with site inspections, installation supervision, and project documentation is an advantage.
Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
Knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and reporting methods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical issues.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prepare professional reports and documentation.
Strong communication skills with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and contractors.
Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multiple teams.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with ERP, project management, ticketing, or documentation systems is an advantage.
Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
