For our client, we are now urgently looking for a Health Safety and Environment Manager to lead the existing team.

The ideal candidate MUST have the below credentials
1. Strong leadership presence and personality, with the confidence to challenge unsafe practices at all organizational levels.

2. High level of assertiveness, with the ability to enforce safety rules and regulations consistently, including stopping unsafe operations when required. This is explicitly part of the role mandate.

3. Solid HSE technical expertise, preferably gained in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, or similarly high-risk environment.

4. Proven ability to build and drive a strong safety culture, not only manage compliance and procedures.

5. Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

6. Strong incident investigation and risk-management capability, including identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring lessons learned are embedded across the organization.

The profile should therefore combine technical credibility with leadership, firmness, influencing capability, and the maturity to ensure that safety standards are effectively implemented and respected throughout the organization.
