We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Student Affairs and Registrar (SAR) Officer to join our team at our academy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Student Affairs and Registrar department, ensuring a seamless experience for our students from enrollment to graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the student enrollment process, ensuring all records are accurately maintained and updated.
- Coordinate with instructors, department heads, and other key stakeholders to ensure that class schedules, assessments, and student support services are effectively managed.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and governmental regulations, including managing student records, certifications, and reporting.
- Lead and mentor the SAR team, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and retention.
- Handle complex student issues, providing resolutions that align with institutional policies and student needs.
- Manage the communication of important information to students regarding academic deadlines, policy changes, and other relevant updates.
- Collaborate with other departments to support institutional goals and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Student Affairs, Registrar’s Office, or a similar role within an educational institution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in student information systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to student and staff needs.
