Role Overview We are looking for a strong Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the bridge between business teams and engineering. The mission of this role is to enable teams across Toters to build products, automate workflows, and solve business problems using our internal AI-powered platform. This role combines software engineering, solution consulting, product thinking, and business enablement. You will work directly with teams across the company to understand their challenges, identify high-impact opportunities, translate them into practical technical solutions, and help teams become increasingly capable of building solutions themselves. You will be responsible for driving platform adoption, identifying and delivering high-value use cases, enabling users, and ensuring that the platform generates measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with teams across Toters to understand their workflows, pain points, and business challenges.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product and technical solutions.
• Rapidly prototype, build, and launch applications, automations, and workflows using the platform.
• Enable non-technical teams to build solutions themselves through onboarding, training, coaching, and best practices.
• Act as the technical and solution-consulting bridge between business teams and engineering.
• Identify and prioritize high-value use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and scalability.
• Work closely with engineering to surface recurring needs, platform gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive adoption and engagement of the platform across different functions and teams.
• Define and track adoption, engagement, and business-impact metrics.
• Measure the value generated through outcomes such as productivity gains, cost reduction, process improvement, revenue impact, and improved customer experience.
• Establish best practices and reusable patterns that help teams build solutions faster and more effectively.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong product and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to move from an ambiguous problem to a practical solution.
• Hands-on experience building software products, internal tools, automations, or AI-powered applications.
• Strong understanding of AI, AI agents, workflow automation, and no-code/low-code application development.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into simple, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Data-driven mindset, with the ability to define success metrics and measure business impact.
