Job Description:
As the Room Division Manager at Reston Hotel,you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the room division operations. You will lead and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service from check-in to check-out. Your role will be critical in maintaining the hotel’s standards, optimizing revenue, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments.
- Ensure that guest services are delivered in accordance with the hotel’s standards of excellence.
- Manage room inventory and optimize occupancy to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for room division operations.
- Lead and motivate staff through training, development, and performance management.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and manage the room division budget, including forecasting and expense control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven 3 years experience as a Room Division Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
