Position: People Culture Assistants (Remote)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Compensation: Unpaid (with potential for paid employment)
This is an unpaid internship that will run for 16 weeks. During this period, you will gain valuable experience in People Culture Assistants and contribute to meaningful projects.
This internship is unpaid. However, based on your performance and the successful acquisition of company funding, there is the potential for this role to transition into a paid position after the internship period. At the end of the 16 weeks, candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance will receive a pre-agreement, with payment commencing upon securing funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
- Support the development and implementation of culture-related programs and initiatives.
- Help coordinate and facilitate training and development sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accurate information.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.
- Provide administrative support to the People Culture Manager and HR team.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Help create and distribute internal communications that promote company values and culture.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and programs.
- Assist in organising recognition programs and events to celebrate employee achievements.
- Participate in HR meetings and contribute to discussions on culture and engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
