In-charge of managing the team in each section of the supermarket, as well as achieving sales targets and maximizing growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Control and manage supermarket activities and daily work.
• Ensure sections are ready for business (lights, air conditioning, refrigeration, doors, security, parking, staff, etc.)
• Open and Close the store as required
• Handle staff related issues and make sure their work schedule is being effective & efficient
• Daily coordination with supervisors to ensure work is on the right track and maintain a team spirit environment
• Continuous follow-up on all issues relating to pricing, expiry dates, returned goods, and warehouse coordination
• Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues
• Participate in the recruitment of new staff for the supermarket
• Evaluate end of probation and yearly performance of staff
• Oversee receiving orders and stock control and maintain inventories
• Complete all the operational requirements of the store
• Appraise, monitor, and plan tasks to be given to individual staff members
• Discipline and coach employees to maintain positive result generation
• Recognize future and present requirements by customers
• Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers
• Study plans towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner
