Jr. Supply Chain officer

Role Purpose:

§ Performs or assists in a variety of clerical and administrative support duties in the administration and management of FDC purchasing program.


Key Accountabilities:

1.   Assist Supply chain manager in:

·        Driving forward improvement projects

·        Prepare needed infrastructure data for project launch

·        Keep schedules current of the implemented projects.

·        Manage proper documentation.


2.   Assist the Supply Chain Manager in drafting SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), audit and challenge them in view of continuously improving applied processes.


3.   Act as a Master Data officer.

·        Creation of new items: Stock keeping units (SKU)

·        Update of items master data – items characteristics.

·        Creation of new items Bar Codes.

·        Update supplier records in Oracle.

·        Keep supplier price lists current in Oracle.


4.   Act as a backup for any Supply Chain Officer absenteeism


5.   Handle a number of branch orders as SCO


Qualifications:

§ BA in Business.

 

Experience:

§ 0-1 year experience in the same field.


Skills and Knowledge:

  • Organizational skills.
  • Timeliness.
  • Accuracy.

§ Ability to work under pressure

  • Cost reduction oriented
  • Communication skills
  • Computer literacy: Ms Windows’s applications (Perfect knowledge of Excel spreadsheets & Word).
