Director of Marketing Strategy

One of our clients is seeking a Director of Marketing Strategy to develop, implement, and lead the company's overall marketing strategy. This senior leadership role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing a marketing team, and driving long-term growth and brand positioning. The role leverages data, market research, and industry insights to inform marketing initiatives, align them with business objectives, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
  • Lead the development of the company's marketing strategy in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives
  • Identify key market opportunities and target audiences to drive brands awareness, customer acquisition, and retention
  • Define strategic objectives and measurable KPIs for marketing initiatives
  • Drive innovation in marketing strategies by staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments (Sales, Product, Operations, etc.) to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business needs
  • Collaborate with creative, digital, and content teams to develop compelling campaigns
  • Partner with the data analytics team to track, measure, and optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Brands Development and Positioning:
  • Lead brands development and positioning efforts to ensure consistency and clarity across all marketing touchpoints
  • Drive efforts to strengthen the company's value proposition and competitive positioning in the market
  • Marketing Campaigns and Execution:
  • Oversee the design, execution, and management of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, events, etc.)
  • Ensure campaigns are strategically aligned with the company's growth objectives and deliver ROI
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing strategy team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Develop team capabilities, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to execute successful marketing strategies
  • Market Research and Insights:
  • Conduct and analyze market research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Provide actionable insights that influence strategic marketing decisions and customer engagement
  • Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
  • Monitor and report on marketing spend to ensure it aligns with strategic goals and delivers measurable results
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing strategies using key metrics (e.g., ROI, engagement, conversion rates)
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the marketing team, encouraging experimentation with new channels, tactics, and technologies
  • Regularly assess and refine the marketing strategy to ensure it adapts to changing market conditions and evolving customer needs


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior strategy or leadership role.
