Position Summary
Responsible for assembling and summarizing accounting and financial data to structure and analyze financial reports and statements for management. Analyzes financial data and prepares financial reports, in addition to identifying relevant insights and compiling analytical reports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analysis

Analyzes financial data
Prepares reports and projections based on financial data
Evaluates current and previous financial data
Designs financial reporting and compiles business insights
Builds statistical models, KPIs, and uses data manipulation techniques to analyse and visualize data


Financial Reporting

Acquires and filters data from primary or secondary data sources while continuously maintaining the existing database
Supports team members in providing relevant data when needed
Engages in cross-functional projects that require data presentation and management
Translates business needs to design and develops tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization; prepares presentations to Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications:

• University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting, or Finance

• Master’s in Business Analytics is preferable

• CFA and CIPM are a plus



Technical Skills:

• Full proficiency in English and Arabic, French is a plus

• Proficiency in Ms. Suite specifically in Excel (Pivots) and PowerPoint

• PowerBI, ERP and CRM products experience is a plus

• Expertise in accounting and financial reporting with high knowledge of internal control and audit frameworks, dashboards, presentations and preferable in financial services or banking industry or audit firms

• Strong analytical thinking while researching, collecting, mapping and analysing data

• Demonstrated experience in analysing, manipulating and visualizing data and high-level presentations

• Ability to make use and to provide value out of Data



Relevant Experience:

• 4-5 years in financial data and business analytics
