J Consult is a premier HR and Recruitment consultancy agency. We are currently partnering with a distinguished client to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer for their operations in Beirut, Lebanon.

As an experienced Procurement Officer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing of goods and services efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, supplier management expertise, and a deep understanding of procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sourcing & Supplier Management – Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
* Purchasing & Order Management – Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
* Cost Control & Budgeting – Monitor procurement expenses and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
* Contract & Compliance Management – Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
* Market Research & Trend Analysis – Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to optimize procurement strategies.
* Inventory & Stock Management – Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
* Risk Assessment – Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.

Qualifications & Skills:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement or supply chain management.
* Software Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong Knowledge of: Supplier negotiation, contract management, and procurement best practices.
* Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to analyze costs, assess vendor performance, and optimize purchasing decisions.
* Negotiation & Communication Skills: Ability to secure the best deals while maintaining strong supplier relationships
