Position Title: Head of Risk Management Unit
Job Type: Full Time; 9 hours/day
Location: Raouche – Beirut

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Risk Manager to oversee the risk management activities. The role involves identifying, assessing and managing risks related to money transfer, payment services and mobile financial services. You will ensure operational resilience, protect the company’s assets and reputation, and collaborate across departments to manage risk effectively.

What will your day look like?
• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to the company’s operations and risk profile.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify emerging risks such as fraud, system failures and cyberattacks.
• Monitor operational metrics such as transaction volumes, error rates and customer complaints to spot potential issues.
• Collaborate with other departments (IT, Finance, Compliance) to integrate risk management across business processes.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified risks.
• Manage the risk register, tracking, prioritizing and reporting on key operational risks and mitigation efforts.
• Provide training to employees, especially frontline staff, on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of disruptions.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee incident management procedures to reduce the impact of operational disruptions.

You are the Risk Manager we are looking for if you have:
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
