DUTIES:
- Plan with stock keeper and operators about the needed tools in the shift.
- Supervise production operations during the assigned shift to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient mold manufacturing processes.
- Monitor workflow, allocate tasks, provide the assistance in machine setup and checking parameters, ensure adherence to SOPs, and design tolerances.
- Oversee proper machine shutdown, tool storage, and workstation cleanup before shift handover or completion.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for machining issues and support operators with technical guidance.
- Report shift performance, production output, downtime, and team safety.
- Complete and maintain production reports, downtime logs, quality checklists, and tool usage in coordination with Office Support Engineer.
- Apply strong knowledge of machining processes and mold manufacturing practices.
- Drive team productivity, solve technical faults, and maintain efficient workflow.
- Keep the Factory Manager updated about the critical technical issues.
- Handover the current shift to second shift leader, by providing the status of machines, reports, and any pending technical issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree: Vocational or technical degree in mechanics or related field. (LT Degree)
- Language: Good command of English both spoken and written.
- Experience: 7-8 years of experience in mold manufacture industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, machinery, and mold assembly, with in-depth knowledge in CAD/CAM tools
