The Showroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring excellent customer service, effective product display, and smooth coordination between sales, inventory, and staff. The role covers both Food & Beverage (F&B) and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments, ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and company standards while driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Operations
Supervise daily showroom activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising and brand guidelines.
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards, especially for F&B products.
Handle opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and basic reporting.
Sales & Customer Service
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and promotions.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Maintain strong product knowledge for both F&B and FMCG items.
Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for stock availability.
Conduct regular stock counts and minimize losses, damages, and expiries.
Ensure proper storage conditions for food and perishable items.
Team Supervision
Supervise, schedule, and train showroom staff.
Ensure staff compliance with company policies, hygiene, and grooming standards.
Motivate the team to maintain productivity and service quality.
Evaluate staff performance and report to management.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Monitor product quality, shelf life, and packaging integrity.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and local regulations.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily and weekly sales, stock, and operational reports.
Coordinate with management, marketing, warehouse, and logistics teams.
Support promotional activities, product launches, and in-store campaigns.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–4 years experience in a showroom, retail, F&B, or FMCG supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
