Roles & Responsibilities
A very reputable media company is seeking a Junior Broadcast Engineer for its Broadcast Engineering department to join their organization.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE), Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance for broadcast equipment, including video routers, video mixers, video walls, cameras, and related systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support on-air automation systems and newsroom production systems.
- Serve as the first line of technical support for newsroom and production teams, ensuring the smooth operation of broadcast activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted broadcasting.
- Support the implementation, testing, and maintenance of broadcast and IT infrastructure as required.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of broadcast technologies, IT systems, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts when required.
