Roles & Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth warehouse operations, and strong control over stock movements. This role is responsible for maintaining high inventory accuracy, leading stock control activities, and supervising warehouse staff to ensure compliance with procedures and operational excellence. Working closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, the Warehouse Team Leader ensures efficiency, accountability, and consistency across warehouse processes.
What You ll Do
- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy at all times across the warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and lead the annual physical stock count.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate system posting of all inventory transactions.
- Monitor and control internal stock movements, including rack-to-rack transfers.
- Prevent unauthorized or unrecorded stock movement at all times.
- Warehouse Operations & Coordination
- Oversee inter-warehouse transfers and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Verify stock quantities and condition before and after transfers.
- Coordinate with Logistics and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth warehouse transitions.
- Maintain accurate rack allocation and location management within the warehouse.
- Ensure all items are stored in designated bins and locations as per warehouse layout.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and support corrective actions.
- Team Leadership & Compliance
- Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily stock control and inventory tasks.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO, warehouse procedures, and internal control policies.
- Support training and guidance of warehouse team members on stock accuracy and processes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly inventory and stock control reports.
- Track inventory performance metrics and highlight risks or variances proactively.
Desired Candidate Profile
3 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory control.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control best practices.
Experience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
Good Excel skills and experience in reporting and data analysis.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work under operational pressure.
