Responsibilities

- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures that minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
- Supervising and managing the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Managing maintenance-related budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of equipment and facility upkeep.
- Liaising with external contractors and suppliers to acquire high-quality services and materials for maintenance projects.
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance maintenance procedures and reduce costs.
- Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is documented according to internal and external requirements.
- Monitoring the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, planning re-orders to avoid delays in maintenance activities.
- Training and developing maintenance staff to enhance their skill sets and efficiency.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations involving equipment breakdowns, mitigating potential hazards or interruptions.
Implementing energy-saving measures and sustainability practices in maintenance operations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive experience in maintenance management within a food manufacturing environment (Minimum 5 years of experience).
• A proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of the food manufacturing industry -specific maintenance standards and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure and address urgent maintenance issues effectively.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
