Job Scope
The Senior E-commerce Specialist is responsible to manage and optimize the technical and operational aspects of the e-commerce platform. In addition, the Senior E-commerce Specialist should ensure the seamless launch and testing of new features, maintain accurate product catalogs, and drive growth through effective Search Engine Optimization strategies.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
General
- Achieve the e-commerce KPI’s to meet the department’s goals and key priorities
- Introduce business solutions and new ideas aiming to enhance the daily operations processes as needed
Technical Management and Feature Development
- Collaborate with developers and vendors to implement, test, and launch new platform features
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure platform updates and new features function as intended
Product Catalog Maintenance
- Manage the product catalog while ensuring that all product information (descriptions, images, prices, and inventory) is accurate and up to date
- Optimize product listings to enhance visibility and conversion rates
- Implement bulk updates and imports using tools or scripts when necessary
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic
- Conduct keyword research, optimize metadata, and ensure SEO best practices are applied to product pages and content
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and implement continuous improvements
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze website performance using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement
- Generate reports on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and sales trends
- Provide actionable insights to optimize the customer journey and drive revenue growth
Platform Optimization
- Work on improving site speed, responsiveness, and overall performance
- Implement UX/UI best practices to enhance the user experience
- Stay updated on e-commerce platform advancements and apply relevant updates
Collaboration and Project Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with broader digital campaigns
- Support cross-functional projects, such as platform migrations or integrations with third-party tools
Stakeholders Relationship
- Maintain effective coordination with different stakeholders for successful initiatives and results
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and ensure continuous communication
- Ensure continuous coordination and smooth interaction with the e-commerce team for better results and achievements
Others
Ensure compliance with authority matrix, code of conduct and ABC policies and procedures
- Remain up to date with the latest developments and best practices in the field
Perform other job-related duties as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Advertising or equivalent
- Certificates: Digital Marketing/ Google ads certificate is a plus
- Knowledge and Experience: 5+ years
