Location: Lebanon, TN 37087 (Onsite)
Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Pay rate: $18.00/hr on W2 without any benefits

Job description:

• Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity of package material
• Package product into containers
• Inspect and remove defective product from production line
• Stop machine when malfunction occurs and report immediately to operator or supervisor
• Stamp finished good product with packer ID number
• Pack sleeved product (from multiple production lines) into corrugated case, seal (tape), and stack on a pallet
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure department and company safety and quality standards are maintained
• Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by lead person and supervisor

Education/experience:

High school graduate or G.E.D.

Mathematical skills:

Basic math skills required.

Mechanical skills:

Basic understanding of machinery and processes.

Communication skills:

Ability to read, write, and understand basic English. Able to communicate effectively, get along with coworkers and management, and deal effectively and professionally under pressure.

Reasoning ability:

Job requires making decisions based on established guidelines regarding running or shutting down on defective work and operational problems or difficulties of all kinds.

• Minimal 8-hour shift schedule with some overtime
• Occasional overhead lifting required (20 to 40 lbs up to 20 times an hour)
• Required to stand and walk continually
• Frequently lifting, pushing, and/or pulling 20 to 40 lbs (up to 20 times an hour)
• Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching (up to 20 times an hour)
