Roles & Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the overall implementation of the Emergency, Recovery, and Resilience Programme, including the multi-year livelihoods, resilience and peacebuilding activities. Guide Senior/Programme Associates and monitor the financial, logistical, administrative and technical aspects in accordance with IOM s policies, practices and global standards as well as relevant requirements, guidelines and grant agreements, under the guidance of Senior Programme Manager.
2. Coordinate within the team including Field Staff, along with the implementing partners and service providers, to support the Senior Programme Manager with timely preparation and submission of donor reports, proposals, communications, information and any other materials for the Programme and the Office.
3. Monitor implementation of the projects under ERR programme portfolio according to the projects work plans, and support the Senior Programme Manager to conduct regular compliance exercises including (bi-)monthly financial reconciliation, updates to risk registers and other. Document the causes of deviations and bottlenecks while proactively identifying solutions, and prepare timely reporting to SMT to inform their decision making .
4. Liaise and coordinate with government entities, implementing partners, United Nation agencies, civil society, donors and other stakeholders relevant for timely and quality project implementation.
5. Participate in the development and adjustment of methodologies, contingency plans, approaches and standard operations procedures to respond to emerging challenges in the project target locations through a consultative process with local stakeholders and partners, as well as other relevant units in the office.
6. Promote and contribute to the integration and mainstreaming of gender, protection, human rights and other pertinent cross-cutting issues into programme implementation.
7. Contribute to information management including the Office s research, monitoring and evaluation activities, awareness raising and visibility, press releases, website updates and other .
8. Participate in relevant technical working groups at national or local levels to promote IOM in Lebanon s expertise and capacities in ERR and related sectors, while proactively identifying potential areas for project development/expansion and cultivating partnerships with other participant stakeholders.
9. Plan, develop, organize and deliver capacity building activities to build capacity of the Office staff, implementing partners and service providers, government officials, and other relevant stakeholders.
10. Undertake duty travel as required related to the implementation and monitoring of programme projects.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
