Job Description

Location: Lebanon, IN
Duration: 12+ months (contract/temp with the possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Range: $30/hr to $34/hr

We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical experience in an industrial environment, with the ability to work on CNC and automated machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, machines, and production equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Disassemble equipment to identify faults and replace defective parts
• Install, assemble, and align new or relocated machinery with precision
• Troubleshoot and repair high-priority production equipment on the plant floor
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Perform basic welding, brazing, and soldering for repair and fabrication needs
• Operate shop equipment safely and follow all safety procedures
• Identify faulty operations and report issues when necessary
• Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and safe condition
• Request and manage spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Support training and knowledge sharing with other team members
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (up to 600V industrial power)
• Hands-on experience with PLC systems, servo motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (lathe & vertical machining centers)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Experience in industrial machine repair and preventive maintenance
• Basic welding, brazing, and soldering skills
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices and compliance standards
• Basic computer skills to operate CNC systems and maintenance software
• Ability to read and understand technical English instructions

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Certification in forklift and/or hoist/crane operation (or willingness to obtain)
• Exposure to automation systems and industrial controls
