I-Function:
- To ensure that the IT systems in the company are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
- Responsible of the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them.
II- Reporting:
- To the Senior System Administrator
- To the Group IT and Productivity Manager

- IT Assistant
IV- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the implementation and management of the servers (file, print and e-mail) infrastructure, their
upgrades, capacity planning, security and audit.
- Ensures that the policies and the procedures of the IT department are implemented.
- Monitors and maintains the computer systems (Desktops and Laptops) and networks of the company.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Formatting computers and replacing parts as required;
- Manages shared resources (disks, printers) and assign rights to users.
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Creates and maintain scripts (e.g.: logon).
- Manages the internal LAN, the IP address allocation and other network equipment.
- Gives technical assistance to users.
- Analyzes and registers problems faced by users on different hardware and software platforms.
- Manages users workstations, start up and shutdown schedules, regular backups, restorations, deals with crisis.
- Ensures installation/reconfiguration/reinstallation of applications, diagnosing and providing solutions to users’
difficulties.
- Participates in the implementation of any new software purchased or upgraded (LIMS, Microsoft Dynamics
NAV, HRMS, ESS, CPS, Etc…)
- Gives support to users on peripherals, printer configuration/management, disk space optimization.
- Analyzes and maintains overview of the office’s work and ensure that timely support is provided for general and
specialized office equipment.
- Manages peripherals, like printers, scanners, cameras, etc.
- Provides virus prevention and cure through tools and keeps track of updates on the virus prevention.
- Implements the necessary measures to keep a high level of IT security in the office.
- Keeps the inventory of the IT assets.
- Organizes and provides training and coaching to users on IT matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
V- Qualification:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in an IT related field with a considerable experience in managing
Information Technology Infrastructures (minimum 2 years); or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Language Ability : (Arabic, English)
