Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Chemist to join our Environmental and Food

Testing Laboratory in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will assist in performing chemical analyses on

various sample types such as food, water, soil, and air, following established laboratory procedures

and quality standards. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 1–2 years of

laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities:

o Prepare and analyze samples for chemical testing (e.g., pH, BOD, COD, Sulfate, Chloride,

etc.).

o Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols.

o Accurately record test results and observations in laboratory information systems or manual

logs.

o Assist in sample preparation, reagents preparation, and proper labeling.

o Ensure proper waste disposal and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

o Calibrate laboratory equipment regularly and report any issues to senior staff.

o Support the laboratory team in daily operations and contribute to maintaining a clean and

organized work environment.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Food Science,

Chemistry, Biology, or related field.

o 0–2 years of experience in a chemical or analytical laboratory (internship or training

experience is acceptable).

o Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments and testing procedures.

o Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

o Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.

o Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
