Roles & Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Review and supervise preparation of VAT, Income Tax, withholding tax, payroll tax, and other tax declarations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on clients.
- Review accounting records and financial statements from a tax perspective.
Client Management
- Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Provide tax advisory and consultation services to clients regarding tax risks, tax planning, and compliance matters.
- Support clients during tax audits, inspections, and official correspondence with tax authorities.
- Assist clients in implementing proper accounting and tax procedures.
Team Management
- Supervise and train junior tax accountants and tax associates.
- Review work performed by the tax team and ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Allocate tasks and monitor deadlines and department performance.
Advisory & Internal Support
- Participate in tax planning and restructuring projects.
- Coordinate with accounting, external audit, and advisory departments when needed.
- Prepare tax memos, reports, and professional recommendations.
- Support management in developing internal tax procedures and controls.
