We are seeking a freelance Android developer. The ideal candidate will have experience with native Android development in either Java or Kotlin, or with React Native, as well as knowledge of how to create background services and connect to databases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Android application from scratch
- Implement features as per requirements, write clean and maintainable code, and optimize app performance
- Test the app thoroughly to ensure it meets all functional requirements and resolve any bugs or issues that arise
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in native Android development using Java or Kotlin
- Knowledge of how to create background services and connect to databases
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Good communication and collaboration skills
This is a remote freelance position, and the developer will be expected to work independently while communicating regularly with the project manager.
