The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The role ensures that all HVAC equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
- Inspect HVAC systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Service equipment such as split units, central air-conditioning systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units, depending on the facility.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 7 years of practical experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Detail oriented.
