Job Summary:
Ensure that all shipments are properly covered as per company's policy. Coordinate with different entities to solve clients, suppliers & forwarders claims in an efficient and effective manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle shortage and waiting time charges claims against suppliers, forwarders and insurance company.
- Follow-up settlement of claims with suppliers, forwarders and insurance company.
- Check & execute received credit notes.
- Issue marine proposals for all the shipments and submit them on a daily basis to insurance company.
- Validate & data entry of all received e-policies.
- Follow-up with the insurance company on non-received policies.
- Handle proper filing and documentation of all claims.
Qualifications and Education requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in the Insurance field, or general Business Administration or similar.
- Experience in Customer Service in banking sector
- Preferable experience in the Insurance field, claims service and Claims handling.
- Minimum experience of 2 years.
Preferred skills:
- Very good English & French communications skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to create effective presentations and present case.
- Accurate & attention to details.
