<p>Job Summary The Lead Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for leading the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade data centers and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers end-to-end infrastructure including physical data center systems, compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud architectures, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and compliance with international standards. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ol> <li>Locate and choose suppliers, request quotes, procure and collect a range of items from the local and/or international market, coordinate with concerned parties for technical support and evaluation and negotiate the financial offer in order to get the most competitive bid.</li> <li>Receive requests for spares, equipments, consumables and/or services from end users, ensure that relevant requirements are understood where appropriate, and process requests to ensure items are procured as per requester s requirements.</li> <li>Issue POs, obtain internal requester s approval, and get the supplier s confirmation and continuously update POs status on BIS in order to track down the requested items.</li> <li>Follow up on delivery schedules / activities (including logistical issues such as insurance, shipment, custom clearance, land transport,...) for spares, equipments, consumables and/or services and takes all the necessary measures in order to ensure that goods and services are delivered at the right time and that invoices are conform to relevant POs.</li> <li>Ensure that the procurement documentation and correspondences are promptly filed, using both electronic solution (BIS) and paper filing, implement an efficient data retrieval systems in order to ensure ease of access to up to date information at all times.</li> <li>Escalate promptly any deviation (budget deviations, delivery delays, non-conformities, etc...) to ensure its proper mitigation.</li> <li>Participate in updating and refreshing the approved suppliers list, catalogues and price lists of defined items to keep the data used by the procurement and estimation departments up-to-date</li> <li>Maintain and foster good relationships with suppliers and end users, co-ordinate as required to ensure BUTEC s needs are best served.</li> <li>Assist internal departments (estimation, project, design) by providing them with the necessary technical guidance and documentation to support the bidding process and defend the submittals made during the project s execution.</li> </ol></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph">Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical); Master s degree is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience required. European Citizenship is a plus. Ability to travel on missions. Good computer skills. English language skills written and spoken and working knowledge of French. Communication and negotiation skills.</p></section>
