PHU works in close coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) Lebanon, health sector partners, UN agencies, NGOs, health facilities, implementing partners, and other relevant stakeholders to support continuity of essential health services, strengthen preparedness and response capacities, and enhance access to healthcare services for vulnerable and affected populations across Lebanon.</p><br><p>PHU activities target vulnerable and crisis-affected populations, including migrants, displaced persons, refugees, and underserved communities. Under its various programmes, PHU supports communicable disease prevention and control, including Tuberculosis, HIV, and outbreak-prone diseases; community-based surveillance; referral and linkage to care; border health activities; emergency health response; and field-level monitoring of public health risks in shelters, communities, points of entry, and supported health facilities. </p><br><p>Within this context, the consultant will support field verification, activity follow-up, monitoring of implementation progress, data collection, documentation, and reporting related to PHU interventions.
