Since the conclusion of the Uruguay round and the creation of the WTO, global trade had grown by higher rates than GDP. Most of developing countries had benefited from this trend; however, the effect in terms of employment generation and poverty reduction has been disappointing, particularly in the Arab region. One of the reasons behind this result is the nature of integration of Arab countries in the global economy. The economies of most Arab countries are typically dependent on a few commodities, with limited linkages to the rest of the economy and value addition. While commodity trade growth may increase productivity and output in the formal sector of the economy, the employment and poverty impacts are likely to be weak, given limited linkages with the local economy and the narrow range of opportunities for innovation and value addition upgrading. Economic integration widens the range of traded goods, enhances the local impact of trade and has a positive impact on employment, particularly among young people, who are the most likely to take up the challenges if equipped with adequate skills. In the context of a new global crisis marked by confrontation and disruption, most of Arab countries are either re-assessing the importance of regional markets for outward looking growth strategies while others are looking for optimal trade policies in terms of geographical focus on product coverage. You're trusted to go deep into a business, figure out what's worth building, and ship it.<br> What You'll Do Embed with portfolio businesses to identify, scope, and build AI-powered solutions to high-value problems.<br> Design and build RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines and agentic systems that integrate with each business's data and workflows.<br> Integrate large language models via APIs ( Anthropic Claude, OpenAI / GPT , and others) into production applications.<br> Use AI-native development tools ( Cursor, Claude, Windsurf ) and automation platforms ( n8n and similar) to build and ship quickly.<br> Take projects from problem framing through to deployed, maintainable software.<br> Move fluidly between business domains, ramping up fast on unfamiliar industries and codebases.<br> The non-negotiable is that you can build.<br> Beyond that, we recognize two paths into this role: Senior software developers — you've built and shipped real systems and can operate independently.<br> (In rare cases we'll consider a less experienced developer who is exceptionally strong with AI tooling, but senior experience is the norm.<br>) Senior product managers / product backgrounds — you've worked in a product or product-management role and have the genuine technical know-how to build things yourself, not just spec them.<br> If you can take a problem and ship a working AI-powered solution, your product instincts are a real asset here.<br> Whichever path you come from, we also expect: Hands-on experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Windsurf , and a genuine interest in AI more broadly.<br> Comfort integrating AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, and others) into real applications.<br> The ability to own ambiguous problems end to end and ship.<br> Adaptability — you enjoy jumping into new domains and getting productive quickly.<br> Nice to Have Experience building RAG pipelines in production.<br> Experience building agents / agentic workflows.<br> Familiarity with n8n or similar automation / orchestration platforms.<br> Exposure to any of our verticals: finance, logistics, education, government, or automotive.<br> Tools &amp; Technologies You'll Work With Anthropic Claude · OpenAI / GPT · Cursor · Windsurf · RAG pipelines · AI agents · n8n · LLM APIs</span> </div>

Job Duties: <br>- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. <br>- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize equipment downtime. <br>- Monitor motors, transformers, control panels, and related systems. <br>- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other engineering teams. <br>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts. <br>- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, procedures, and regulations. <br>Support continuous improvement and energy-efficiency initiatives. <br> <br> <br>Qualifications: <br>* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. <br>* 2–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience. <br>* Good knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. <br> <br>Location: Zouk Mosbeh
