<p><h4>Job summary:</h4>
<p>As a welder at PRL, you'll be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal and other weldable materials. You'll apply appropriate welding techniques and operate welding equipment to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Your role will be crucial in interpreting company-specific procedures to determine the best welding processes.</p>
<h4>Job duties and responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Understand blueprints/drawings and interpret and apply design aspects to current projects.</li>
<li>Successfully pass the X-ray quality internal weld test SMAW/FCAW.</li>
<li>Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications.</li>
<li>Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications and determine structural soundness.</li>
<li>Review engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences.</li>
<li>Operate overhead crane and forklift.</li>
<li>Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment.</li>
<li>Dimensionally inspect products using standard measuring equipment.</li>
<li>Meet all quality assurance standards.</li>
<li>Complete the safety training program for the welding position.</li>
<li>Responsible for housekeeping in the work area.</li>
<li>Follow all safety and operating instructions, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

<h4>Physical and mental efforts:</h4>
<ul>
<li>General: Extensive mobility required, some moderate to heavy lifting. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds; to walk and stand for extended periods; to see objects closely; and to hear normal sounds with some background noise.</li>
<li>The position requires the ability to concentrate despite interruptions and to attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.</li>

<li>Skills: Ability to follow weld procedures to repair and fabricate various metals utilizing SMAW/FCAW/GMAW/GTAW. Ability to operate handheld grinders.</li>

<br>We are seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design and analysis of steel structures systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing structural calculations, developing engineering designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
<br>
<br>This is a remote position.
<br>
<br>Key Responsibilities:
<br>
<br>Design steel structures, including equipment platforms, pipe rafts, tensile membrane support frames, mezzanines, and canopies.
<br>Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, and technical documentation to support project deliverables.
<br>Develop Excel spreadsheets and/or Mathcad worksheets for the analysis and design of various structural components, ensuring strict adherence to industry codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.).
<br>Perform hand calculations for structural analysis and design, including but not limited to seismic design, wind loading, and other relevant load cases, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes and standards.
<br>Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications in AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
<br>Conduct load analysis, wind, and seismic design calculations in accordance with industry standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.).
<br>Work closely with CAD drafters to ensure structural drawings align with design calculations and project specifications.
<br>Stay up to date with advancements in structural engineering, industry trends, and software applications to improve design efficiency and accuracy.
<br>Qualifications & Skills:
<br>
<br>Strong understanding of structural analysis methods, load paths, and material behavior.
<br>Familiarity with national codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc.).
<br>Ability to perform detailed structural calculations and generate engineering reports.
<br>Steel Design experience is required.
<br>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
<br>Strong communication and teamwork skills

<br>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
