You’ll be part of one global team where you can learn fast and stay true to yourself.</span></p><br><p><b>About the Team:</b></p><br><p>We are the CAPS team (CAPS for Compute Aggregation Processing and Storage), part of the EDM (Enterprise Data Management) domain in the Risk and Buy-Side group within the global development department. Our mission is to build and maintain a highly scalable RTETL framework for capital markets solutions (RTETL stands for Real-Time Extract Transform and Load). The RTETL is a flexible and extensible framework, with customizable connectors, capable of handling large volumes of data in real-time.</p><br><p>As a part of our team, you'll work alongside passionate developers, innovative thinkers, and problem-solvers who strive for excellence in every aspect of the application. We foster an environment of collaboration, exploration, and continuous learning.</p><br><p><b>Your Responsibilities: </b></p><br><ul><li>Build and maintain the RTETL framework: focus on developing and evolving the foundational building blocks on which the RTETL framework is built.</li><li>Develop and enhance capital markets connectors by adding support for additional source and target systems, including the connection to various MX services and writing data to multiple DB vendors.</li><li>Improve the RTETL framework’s performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and observability.</li><li>Participate in design discussions and drive the implementation of complex features.</li><li>Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by continuously researching and experimenting with new technologies that enhance the capabilities of the framework.</li></ul><p><b><i>Your Profile: </i></b></p><br><ul><li>3+ years of experience as a Java developer.</li><li>Solid understanding of design patterns and distributed systems.</li><li>Solid understanding of relational databases.</li><li>Proficiency in Git and Maven.</li><li>Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication.</li><li>Fluent in English; French is a plus.</li><li>Team spirit and collaboration.</li></ul><p><b><i>« Nice to have » skills:&nbsp;&nbsp; </i></b></p><br><ul><li>Familiarity with Apache Spark or other big-data frameworks.</li><li>Experience with ETL frameworks such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Databricks …</li><li>Experience in writing performance-sensitive Java code.</li><li>Experience working with financial datasets, pricing models, or related analytical engines.</li><li>Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>General knowledge of financial markets is a plus</li><li>Interest in exploring the technical and functional aspects of the MX.3 software</li></ul> </div>
