It aims to be a leading, academically-driven healthcare facility delivering comprehensive, individual-centered care. <br> <br>SGMC is currently recruiting a skilled OR Head Nurse to oversee clinical and operational activities within the Operating Room and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. <br> <br>Job Responsibilities: <br> Supervise and coordinate nursing activities in the Operating Room, ensuring adequate staffing according to the daily OR schedule, patient acuity, and staff competency. <br> Coordinate with physicians, residents, medical students, and hospital departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective patient care. <br> Oversee OR operations, patient safety, documentation accuracy, equipment maintenance, and compliance with infection control practices. <br> Investigate and follow up on patient and physician complaints, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary. <br> Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluation, professional development, and retention initiatives. <br> Monitor departmental resources and expenses to support cost-effective operations and optimal resource utilization. <br> Ensure compliance with hospital policies, MOH regulations, and accreditation requirements. <br> <br>Job Requirements: <br>Education & Experience: <br> Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 5 years of experience, including 2 years in OR management, leadership, or education (Master’s in Nursing Administration is a plus). <br> Nursing Colloquium, valid nursing license from MOH, and registration in the Order of Nurses. <br>Skills: <br> Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. <br> Ability to manage teams, resources, and daily OR operations effectively. <br> Proficiency in Arabic and English (French is an asset). <br> <br>Interested candidates may submit their resume at: hr@sgmc.com.lb

<p>STMC seeks a Head Nurse to lead the Surgery &amp; Internal Medicine wards: organizing shift schedules and staff assignments, supervising and coaching the nursing team, ensuring quality and safety of care (medication administration, wound care, infection control), coordinating admissions/discharges with physicians and administration, and managing ward supplies and documentation in the hospital system.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>BSN with current registration at the Order of Nurses in Lebanon;</li><li>5+ years' bedside experience including med-surg, 2+ in a supervisory role;</li><li>strong leadership and organization;</li><li>trilingual preferred.</li></ul>

<p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> Supports the design and development of learning programmes and curricula including supporting in organizing and conducting occupational and competency analyses within their area of specialization, drafting programme profiles, learning guides and manuals, assessing and integrating new and emerging technologies into the subject specializations, and assisting in integrating career guidance and counselling in the learning programmes. Facilitates the delivery of the school-based and work-based learning programmes assigned to them including designing and preparing training venues, identifying and proper utilizing of the facilities and equipment, selecting the trainees, developing inclusive training (lessons) plans, facilitating and managing learning in classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and workplaces, employing adult learning strategies including integrating trainees with disabilities and special learning needs, and mainstreaming Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills for life and work in the learning delivery. Designs student assessments both formative and summative assessments, practice-based and knowledge-based skills tests; Develops assessment sheets, grids and inclusive skills assessment implementation plans including assessment of core skills and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH); Conducts knowledge and practice-based assessments and tests according to the assessment implementation plan. Builds linkages with employers, workers, and TVET instructors in their specialisations; Collects and utilises available labour market information (LMI) for their training courses; supports conducting and analysing skills needs and anticipation assessments, employers surveys, trainees and graduate trace studies to identify skills gaps, needs, and mismatches for their learning programmes. Applies quality assurance tools and processes across the training cycle of their training courses according to UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework. Supports TVET greening and digitalization initiatives and activities; Designs and implements green and digital learning programmes; Integrates green and digital skills into their training courses; Develops and facilitates synchronous and asynchronous training sessions. Collaborates with other instructors and staff members in coordinating the teaching and learning process, keeping respectful environment at the Centre, maintaining order and discipline in the Centre, and implementing well-organized co-curricular activities, supporting the design and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) measures and tools and reports on incidents and risks in the Centre.
