You keep work moving accurately and on time — briefs written, approvals chased, timelines held, documentation clean. You are the team's most reliable pair of hands, and you learn the client's business by living in the day-to-day detail of it.</p><br><p>Scope boundary: You support and execute. You do not own client strategy, budgets, or commercial negotiation — those sit with the Account Manager and above. You escalate early rather than absorb risk.</p><br><p>1. RESPONSIBILITIES</p><br><p>1.1 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT</p><br><ul><li><p>Maintains accurate, up-to-date account documentation: status reports, contact reports, WIP trackers, approval logs.</p><br></li><li><p>Builds working knowledge of the client's brand, products, category, and campaign calendar.</p><br></li><li><p>Keeps internal teams informed of changes to briefs, timings, and deliverables.</p><br></li><li><p>Flags risks to timeline, budget, or quality to the Account Manager as soon as they appear.</p><br></li><li><p>Learns and applies agency process consistently; suggests small improvements where steps are repetitive or error-prone.</p><br></li></ul><p>1.2 CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SUPPORT</p><br><ul><li><p>Acts as a day-to-day contact for routine client requests, responding promptly and professionally.</p><br></li><li><p>Attends client meetings, takes clear notes, and circulates accurate contact reports within agreed turnaround.</p><br></li><li><p>Communicates in a way that reflects well on the agency: clear, courteous, and never defensive.</p><br></li><li><p>1.3 STRATEGIC SUPPORT</p><br></li><li><p>Gathers inputs that feed strategic work: competitor activity, category trends, platform updates, cultural moments.</p><br></li><li><p>Assembles background research, reference decks, and case studies for briefs and pitches.</p><br></li><li><p>Contributes ideas in brainstorms and internal reviews; is expected to have a point of view, not just take notes.</p><br></li><li><p>Builds familiarity with the client's audience, brand guidelines, and tone of voice.</p><br></li><li><p>Builds rapport with junior and mid-level client contacts.</p><br></li><li><p>Escalates anything commercial, contentious, or strategic to the Account Manager rather than answering it alone.</p><br></li><li><p>1.4 SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION</p><br></li><li><p>Drafts and circulates clear internal briefs; confirms all inputs are present before work starts.</p><br></li><li><p>Traffics work through creative, content, production, and media teams; chases feedback and approvals.</p><br></li><li><p>1.5 FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION</p><br></li><li><p>Prepares draft estimates and cost sheets for Account Manager approval.</p><br></li><li><p>Raises and tracks purchase orders; chases supplier invoices and documentation.</p><br></li><li><p>Keeps job numbers, budgets trackers, and billing records accurate and current.</p><br></li><li><p>Completes timesheets accurately and on time.</p><br></li><li><p>Never commits the agency to costs or scope without Account Manager sign-off.</p><br></li><li><p>Manages day-to-day production support: call sheets, scheduling, asset collection, versioning, file naming, delivery.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensures final assets meet platform specs, brand guidelines, and regulatory or legal requirements before delivery.</p><br></li><li><p>Maintains version control and a clean asset archive.</p><br></li><li><p>Pulls performance data from Emplifi, Talkwalker, Social Insider, and native platform analytics into agreed reporting templates.</p><br></li><li><p>Prepares first-draft performance reports for Account Manager review; over time, begins drafting observations, not just numbers.</p><br></li><li><p>Monitors live campaigns and flags anomalies (delivery issues, comment surges, errors) immediately.</p><br></li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><p>2. SUCCESS CRITERIA</p><br><p>ACCURACY: Your work is right the first time. Reports, briefs, specs, and figures can be trusted without re-checking.</p><br><p>RELIABILITY: Deadlines are met. Nothing is dropped. When something is at risk, the team hears it from you early.</p><br><p>PROACTIVITY: You anticipate the next step rather than waiting to be asked. You come with a suggested solution, not only a problem.</p><br><p>CURIOSITY: You ask questions, learn the client's business, and stay current on platforms, formats, and trends.</p><br><p>COLLABORATION: Creative, production, and media colleagues find you organised, clear, and easy to work with.</p><br><p>COMPOSURE: You stay calm and professional under deadline pressure and handle feedback without becoming defensive.</p><br><p>3. EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS</p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.</p><br></li><li><p>0–3 years' experience in an agency, marketing, or communications environment; internships count.</p><br></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal English; Arabic strongly preferred.</p><br></li><li><p>Confident with PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel/Sheets; comfortable learning reporting and project-management tools.</p><br></li><li><p>Working knowledge of social platforms as a marketer, not only as a user.</p><br></li><li><p>Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.</p><br></li></ul><p>4. PROGRESSION</p><br><p>Readiness for Account Manager is demonstrated by:</p><br><ul><li><p>Running day-to-day on a workstream with minimal supervision.</p><br></li><li><p>Interpreting performance data rather than only reporting it.</p><br></li><li><p>Client contacts approaching you directly and trusting your answers.</p><br></li><li><p>Drafting estimates and timelines that need little correction.</p><br></li><li><p>Briefing creative teams well enough that work comes back on strategy.</p><br></li></ul><br><br> </div>
